53 years ago, John and Thérèse Desmedt opened the restaurant ’t Oud Konijntje. A lot has changed since that day. New trends and fashions, different eating habits… and the reputation of the restaurant grew steadily with the years. ‘t Oud Konijntje is a very special restaurant where every member of the family has its own specialty. The kitchen is Patricia’s domain. She followed in her mothers footsteps as chef and doesn’t owe her talent to a stranger. Patricia only uses fresh seasonal products of the highest quality … asparagus, truffles, game… The fantastic wine cellar, on the other hand, is Frank’s domain who inherited his passion for wine from his father. His motto: “The world of wine has never been as captivating as it is today”. Anne-Marie and her team guarantee a warm and friendly service. And let’s not forget the delicious desserts of Martine!
